Does gangsta rap harm black americans?

I am African American and I can't stand rap, at all! Not only does it give us a bad name but it also allows young listeners to glorify and think that THAT is the way to live and get rich. When it totally is not. I have No problem with people who like rap, listen to it if you want, but there is never a good outcome when the mimicking takes place.
